Tamarkin, as founding partners. With their extensive experience and expertise, Smithy and Tamarkin will take on pivotal roles as members of the firm’s executive committee.

Bringing in Decades of Wealth Management Experience

Mr. Bradford Smithy brings a wealth of experience to Elevation Point, with over 30 years in the wealth management industry. His extensive career includes more than 15 years at UBS, where he held significant leadership positions, including Divisional Director. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing a vast network of over 1,900 financial advisors, who managed nearly $500 billion in assets under management.

Before his tenure at UBS, Mr. Smithy spent another 15 years at Merrill Lynch. His roles there were diverse and impactful, ranging from financial advisor to complex sales manager, complex director and district sales manager. This broad spectrum of experience has equipped him with a deep understanding of the industry and a proven ability to lead and manage high-performing teams.

Mr. Robert B. Tamarkin also had plenty of experience before joining Elevation Point. Initially, he was at UBS, where he made significant contributions as the Market Director for the Southeast Market.

In this role, he led the firm’s wealth management offices in Atlanta and across Georgia, demonstrating his exceptional leadership and strategic acumen. His expertise extended to managing UBS offices in South Carolina, North Carolina, Mississippi and Alabama, showcasing his ability to drive success across multiple regions.
